Haiti Earthquake

Haiti earthquake was the biggest, nastiest earthquake ever happened in 200 years. This immense earthquake took lives of a large population, and people who luckly survived got some serious injuries. All the power were cut, so no connection whatsoever. Haiti is one of the poorest country in the whole world. By this, it was impossible to recover the damage they recieved by themselves, which is why US goverment reacted quickly and went on to the rescue. Thanks to US's quick thinking, they were able to reduce the number of death. Now that US has gone to help, other nations are starting to send haiti field hospitals and rescue teams. Yes, it was the worst quake there in 200 years, though other places in the world have suffered quakes of larger Richter scale numbers. The thing about Haiti is that the country is so poor to begin with, recovery from such a disaster takes so long.
