Haiti UPDATE!!!

The good news is, that more and more nations are up on the rescue. The bad news is, the number of death found is increasing rapidly by every minute. Probably right now when you are reading this post, some kind of help is being sent to haiti weather if it is field hospitals, doctors, rescue squad, loads and tons of medications, or anything you can think of that can help a country which just suffered 7.0 earthquake. Even though these actions are being executed, there are just too many people out there in haiti who are berried under concretes and unable to get any help. The CNN news reported 2 hours and 20 minutes before this blog entry was created, said that there were more than 20,000 kids waiting desperately for food. They also reported that the most heart-wrenching thing they saw is that more than 200 people outside the clinic waiting for their turn, which could take few hours to days. In fact, many people died waiting, because they were heavily wounded and because the action wasn't taken immediately.

Haiti Earthquake

Haiti earthquake was the biggest, nastiest earthquake ever happened in 200 years. This immense earthquake took lives of a large population, and people who luckly survived got some serious injuries. All the power were cut, so no connection whatsoever. Haiti is one of the poorest country in the whole world. By this, it was impossible to recover the damage they recieved by themselves, which is why US goverment reacted quickly and went on to the rescue. Thanks to US's quick thinking, they were able to reduce the number of death. Now that US has gone to help, other nations are starting to send haiti field hospitals and rescue teams. What I did over break

Watch movies:
  • Avatar
  • National team (KOREAN)

  • G.I Joe: The rise of the Cobra

Avatar the movie was directed by the director of titanic, terminator and other famous movies. This movie is about a marine who goes to the planet PANDORA instead of his brother. There he meets his own avatar, connecting during daytime and sleeping at his human form during night. He also becomes one of the Navies, which is a clan of these blue aliens.

National Team is a korean movie that is funny, exciting, and touching indeed. This movie takes place in 1990s, when korea didn't participate ski jump in olympics. This movie is based on a true story, where a team of 5 trains hard to participate in the olympics. There a miracle happens.

G.I Joe the movie was out a long time ago, but I watched it in airplane because I had nothing to do. This movie is cool, and has a lot of awesome actions. There are two teams, made out of very well trained ultimate fighters. They both have weapons that are unbelivebly powerful. One of them uses them to terrorize the entire world, and one uses the weapons to stop the opponent from the terror.

White christmas

December 25th, the day when santa clause comes around and gives gifts to people. Christmas. All the happy stuff, blah blah.... There we were, my family and I looking outside, thinking about what to do. Then just when we were decided about where we should go, it was snowing. Well, maybe it snowed too much. Maybe I should call it BLIZZARD instead. This was kind of awesome, and frustrating. It was awesome because I've never seen this much snow in my whole life. The frustrating thing was that our schedule got canceled because the snow came down more than 25 cm in Seoul, and 23 cm in where I live, which makes cars impossible to drive around. So we had no choice but to stay in house in CHRISTMAS. I thought about taking a walk outside, but that was also a very hard thing to do because the outside temperature was about -17 to -18 degrees, which is cold enough to give me frostbites. So overall, I'll bet that was the worst christmas I've ever had, doing practically NOTHING.
