Plastiki

Plastiki is a distinctive and unusual ship that is 20 meters long, and the bottom of it is made out of recycled 12500 PET bottles. They sail across big oceans, and they believe they will actually make it. Now, I'm probably sure that you are thinking 'how is a ship made out of plastic bottles cross the ocean?'. The thing is, only the bottom of the ship is made out of plastic bottles, not the whole ship. It's actually filled with high-tech stuff, and very safe. There's a tent on the ship, and it's really cool. This time, march 20th, with 6 crews including David de Rothchild, sailed off from california, and their goal is to cross the pacific ocean. This expedition is led by David de Rothchild, and he had this idea because of today's global warming and marine pollutions. He said that the pacific ocean is just one big trash and he came up with the idea to cross the ocean by using a boat made out of recycled bottles.

Pretty good work here, Yong Hee. Be sure you've got the main point identified. The purpose of the project is to raise our awareness of the large amount of plastic waste thrown into the oceans. It's bad.

I really like the way that you described the boat. You didn't say why they built Plastiki though. Nice Work.

It's good post but like Si Won, you need to add more why David De Rothchild made this boat. But it's really nice. Good!!!
